The Children’s Fund for Armenia (CFFA) was established in 1990 under the auspices of the Armenian Diocese of Canada. Its main mission has been to help those children who became orphans because of the 1988 Earthquake and, subsequently because of the Artsakh war.
Since its inception and thanks to the donations and sponsorship of our Canadian-Armenian faithful, the program has provided ongoing help to approximately 2000 orphans and needy children.
It has become obvious that the mission of CFFA will require some changes. As of 2015 it is focusing on supporting the children of needy families living in the villages of the region of Vayots Dzor, at the border with Nakhichevan.
